Max Miller is a photographer and farmer from southeast Nebraska, where he has lived all his life. He first discovered digital photography in 1999, while trying to find a better way to capture his family’s every day life. As the years went by, this household tool grew into a therapeutic passion. In his spare time, Max began attempting to capture the hidden beauty of the plains he experienced everyday while farming. His work is now displayed at the Graham Gallery in Hastings, Nebraska as well as in private collections.
Through his photographs Max combines the natural beauty of the Rainwater Basin and Great Plains with the nostalgia of Nebraska’s historic past. Along with his continual work in Nebraska, Max has taken photographs in California, Nevada and Indiana.
Max resides in Geneva, Nebraska with Sharon, his wife of 29 years. Together they have three children.
